Q: How can I record my reflections and thoughts as I work through the activities?

A: As you work through the activities you may like to have more than one computer screen window open:

1. the window of the course web site open at the activity you are working on
2. the window of the Supporting SciTech in the primary classroom (either CD-ROM or Internet version)
3. a Word document in which you can record your thoughts.
   

When you have finished the activity:

• copy and paste the discussion question into the Word document
• develop your response, using your notes to guide you.

When you are satisfied with your response:

• login to the discussion
• click 'reply to .....(the current topic)
• copy and paste your response
  

While you are logged in, read your colleague's messages and respond with your own ideas, questions and thoughts to continue the dialogue. Do this on a regular basis to ensure that the discussion develops and grows.

Before you logout, mark read your messages. Next time you login, only those messages which are New messages can be displayed.
