IrfanView is a free! software application which enables you to manage your images. You can view, convert, scan, resize, play movies and sounds. Download the software and the plugins and install the software first, then the plugins.
Navigating around pdf documents
Watch an animation of the various
options available in Acrobat pdf documents. The examples relate to an online project, Count
Me In Too Online, however they are equally relevant to this
project.
Permission to publish student worksamples
Although your worksamples will be posted to a discussion board
which is only available to course participants and support personnel,
it is still necessary to gain parent/carer permission to publish
the work. Could you please provide a copy of the attached Permission
to publish student worksamples form to each student whose work
you wish to use. Please request a signed copy back from the parent/carer
and retain it as proof of permission granted. Please only use first
names to identify students.
Travel claims
Please use the attached travel
claim documents (pdf 47kb) if you wish to submit a claim for
travel to and from the workshops.
Software to read pdf files and play videos
You need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer
to view files in pdf (portable document file) format.
You need Quicktime player installed on your computer to
play the video files that are part of Supporting SciTech in
the primary classroom
The latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and Quicktime
Player can be downloaded, free of charge, by clicking on the
appropriate icon below.
