
| New South Wales teachers of
secondary English worked in project teams to develop the resource material
that is featured on Enhancing literacy in secondary English (ElisE).
The projects focus on how teachers identified the literacy requirements
of the Stage 6 English syllabus, and worked to design programming and teaching
and learning strategies to meet these requirements. The resources are designed to provide professional support and development for head teacher/coordinators of English and teachers of Stages 4, 5 and 6 English. They will be used to generate substantial, professional discussion at the 2002 Secondary English LIG workshop and in local networks. They will also support ongoing faculty-based learning in schools. |
