Talking and listening 2

Module 2 provides further professional learning about talking and listening in Early Stage 1 and Stage 1 classrooms. It is designed to be completed over two weeks.

During this module participants will:

• access relevant sections of the English K-6 syllabus, Focus on Literacy: Talking and Listening and the English K-6 Modules.
• focus on teaching and learning strategies related to the Discussion text type
• monitor students' understanding of some of the structural and grammatical features of Discussion.
