Outcomes to be achieved
Standards in NSW syllabuses are defined by:
- the outcomes (PDF 270 KB) are specific statements of knowledge, skills and understandings expected to be gained by most students at the end of each stage as a result of effective teaching and learning
- the content (PDF 251 KB) is what teachers will teach in each stage.
Syllabus standards are illustrated by:
