Work samples
Analysing work samples can assist teachers determine what students know and can do in relation to syllabus outcomes.
Teachers can access a variety of authentic work samples published by the Board of Studies and the NSW Department of Education and Training that provide examples of the ways students might demonstrate achievement of English K–6 syllabus outcomes. Viewing annotated work samples can assist teachers develop shared or common interpretations of standards and syllabus expectations.
