Work samples

Analysing work samples is one way teachers can determine what students know and can do in relation to Syllabus outcomes.

Teachers can access a variety of authentic work samples published by the Board of Studies that provide examples of the way students might demonstrate achievement of the EnglishK-6 Syllabus outcomes. Viewing annotating work samples, accompanied by Syllabus-based criteria, can assist teachers develop shared or common interpretations of Stage standards and Syllabus expectations.
