Outcomes

Module 2 provides professional learning about talking and listening in Stage 2 classrooms.

At the conclusion of this module course participants will have:

• accessed relevant sections of the English K-6 Syllabus and DET literacy support documents
• chosen a target group of students with whom to work, and conducted an initial assessment task with them
• used the assessment data to plan explicit and systematic talking and listening activities
• worked with the class, and specifically the target group of students, to improve talking and listening Syllabus outcomes related to explanation texts
• used the Online Discussion board to reflect on student learning, and teacher professional learning.
