2002 English LIG resources
The workshop materials Enhancing literacy in secondary English used at the Local Interest Group (LIG) workshops are available in the Workshops and Programs section under the subject heading English LIG 2002.

The materials result from seven school-based projects:
• Programming English Years 7-10
• Teaching and learning about film in Stage 6 English
• Critical literacy in English Years 8-10
• Fundamentals of English
• Teaching multimedia texts in Years 7-10 English
• Teaching and learning for Indigenous students in Stage 5 English
• Teaching representing and appropriation in English Years 10 and 11.

The materials focus on the literacy requirements of Stages 4, 5 and 6 English. Each project contains resources and units of work designed to meet these requirements.

2002 Mathematics LIG resources
The workshop materials and participant learning journal distributed at the May/June LIG workshops can be downloaded from the Workshops and Programs section under the subject heading Mathematics LIG 2002. The workshop materials contain sample units of work focusing on assessment and integrating technology in teaching and learning. The learning journal contains a process for using the 2001 NSW HSC Standards Package and a proforma for developing projects to address initiatives in planning for teaching and learning in Stage 6 Mathematics.
