School evaluation

This section of the package provides activities that will help you evaluate aspects of Science and Technology education in your school. The activities focus on two aspects that could be considered in a school evaluation.

The two aspects that are addressed in this project are school planning, and classroom programming and practice. The initial activities are concerned with school planning.

When you are evaluating aspects of Science and Technology education in a particular school, it is useful to consider how the qualities of the school program relate to a level of implementation. For the purposes of this activity the following descriptors have been used as benchmarks on a scale that represents the school’s journey toward the full implementation of a quality program in Science and Technology.
